The collaboration work between Miri Lee (dance) and Oene van Geel (5 string violin + electronics) is the ongoing project.
The works are mainly focused on creating the music, movement and space in real time.
Oene: “I saw Miri the Monday Match evening at the Bimhuis for the first time and was instantly fascinated by her concentration and movement language. She was so fascinated in her presence that I had to step down to her and suggested to work together”
After several duo sessions on the floor (sometimes with the audience) Then we knew that we would like to work together as a duo. We both are very pleased to continue the unique duo presentations until now. We work sometimes with structure either concepts but also allows plenty of curiosity in the moment that we can respond each other in the location where we perform.
